General Schemes showing the principle work of SpiderMUX, directly applicable at office or hotel.

On the Schemes below is shown one of the ways for connecting the SpiderMUX to several telephone networks (PSTN, GSM, or local office/hotel/home network), with calls between them are managed by Asterisk®. In that case you use the communication quality, guaranteed by SpiderMUX and the TDMoE protocol as well as the routing of the calls by the Asterisk including all its functionalities:

Office Solution

SpiderMUX can be applied in small offices as the number of telephone terminals (lines) can be easily enlarged on any room of the office. This can be accomplished by consecutive linking of numerous SpiderMUX devices via existing Ethernet.

Hotel Solution

SpiderMUX can be applied in large and small hotels as the number of telephone terminals (lines) can be easily enlarged on any floor, room or part of the building. This can be accomplished by consecutive linking of numerous SpiderMUX devices via Ethernet. A convenient feature, such as telephone conversation logs in the system is provided. Logging can be customized for the needs of hotels individually, thus providing records for certain rooms through the Asterisk's functionalities.
